Cara Menambahkan pilihan "Disk Cleanup" pada Drive Konteks Menu

Biasanya kita sesekali perlu melakukan pembersihan Hard Disk (HD) melalui "Disk Cleanup" yang kita jalankan dari system tools. Dengan begitu HD kita tidak akan penuh oleh file-file sampah yang dapat mencuri ruang HD kita. Defaultnya, jika kita klik kanan pada...

drive C: atau drive lainnya tidak ada pilihan disk cleanup. Jika kita ingin menambahkannya ternyata bisa lho. Kita hanya perlu melakukan beberapa perubahan pada registry, itu saja. Dengan adanya pilihan disk cleanup pada drive konteks menu maka kita mempermudah kerja pembersihan HD kita.



Caranya adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Masuklah ke registry editor.
2. Tujulah key :
       HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
3. Dalam key shell bualah key baru dengan nama Disk cleanup.
4. Kemudian buat key di bawah key Disk cleanup tadi dan beri nama command
5. Ubah value key command tadi dari default ke cleanmgr.exe /d %1
6. Sekarang kita dapat mengakses disk cleanup dari drive konteks menu.

Open Menu Konteks Windows 7 Tidak Muncul Ketika 15+ Folder Terpilih

Di Windows 7 ketika kita memeilih 15 folder kemudian klik kanan akan ada pilihan open sedangkan jika folder yang terpilih lebih dari 15 maka pilihan open akan hilang. Jika Anda mendapati masalah seperti ini jangan panik dulu. Sebab ini bukan kerusakan atau kesalahan pada Windows Anda melainkan fitur ini sengaja dibuat untuk mencegah pembukaan file dalam jumlah besar sehingga berpotensi menggangu performance

komputer. Tetapi jika Anda merasa fitur ini harus dihilangkan, dalam artian bahwa Anda ingin bisa membuka 15 folder lebih sekaligus maka Anda perlu melakukan perubahan pada registry.

Langkahnya adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Masuk ke registry editor (tekan kombinasi tombol Windows + R kemudian ketik regedit kemudian tekan Enter).
2. Tuju HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
3. Di panel sebelah kanan, buat key baru DWORD value dengan nama MultipleInvokePromptMinimum dan set nilainya menjadi 16. Kemudian restart komputer untuk menyimpan perubahan.

Jika ingin mengembalikan seperti semula hapus key yang dibuat tadi.

Open++ adalah utilitas kecil yang dapat menambahkan beberapa commands ke dalam konteks menu file/folder. Sehingga memungkinkan kita membuka file terpilih dengan cepat berdasarkan commands yang kita inginkan.

Anda juga dapat menambahkan command baru dari setting Open++ sesuai keinginan. Untuk menginstall Open++ ekstrak file zipnya kemudian jalankan fiel "OpenXX.exe" , tuju tab "Install/Uninstall" kemudian klik tombol "Install...". Untuk uninstall-nya, klik tombol "Uninstall...".

Cara Meriset/Menghapus Password BIOS atau CMOS

 PERINGATAN: Informasi ini khusus bagi pengguna komputer tingkat lanjut, bukan untuk pemula, hackers, atau pencuri. Mohon jangan mencoba jika Anda tidak familiar dengan perangkat keras komputer. Kesalahan dalam menjalankan informasi ini dapat menyebabkan kerusakan dan kehilangan data, jadi lakukan dengan resiko Anda sendiri!
Password BIOS ditambahkan untuk lebih mengamankan komputer. Dengan password kita dapat mencegah orang lain mengatur BIOS atau bahkan mencegah komputer melakukan booting. Tapi bagaimana jika kita lupa passwordnya? Tentu hal ini sangat menjengkelkan bukan? Tapi Anda tidak perlu khawatir, karena ada banyak cara untuk meriset/menghapus/bypass password BIOS.


Beberapa cara yang dapat kita gunakan adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Melepas baterai CMOS; cara ini mudah dilakukan. Kita hanya perlu melepas baterai BIOS kemudian memasangnya kembali.
   
2. Jumper motherboard; lihatlah petunjuk yang ada di motherboard di mana posisi jumper untuk clear CMOS. Disini kita hanya memindahkan posisi jumper pada pin yang telah disediakan dan nanti dikembalikan lagi ke posisi semual. Lebih jelasnya baca "manual book" motherboard. 
3. MS DOS command; gunakan baris perintah:

    quit

4. Menggunakan software: misalnya KillCMOS, CmosPwd, De-CMOS. Anda tinggal menjalankan software dan ikuti prosesnya.
   
5. Menggunakan Backdoor BIOS password;

Beberapa produsen BIOS menanmkan Backdoor BIOS password, yang tidak akan terganti walaupun kita memasang password milik kita. Ini merupakan master password yang digunakan untuk tujuan pengujian dan troubleshooting (pemecahan masalah).

Walaupun "search" Windows 7 sudah lebih baik dibanding Windows sebelumnya tapi jika dibandingkan search engine yang satu ini milik Windows tidak ada apa-apanya. Bayangkan saja, Everything ini mampu mengindex 1000.000 (satu juta) file dalam 1 menit. Nyaris tidak ada jeda sama sekali ketika kita mengetikkan sebuah huruf di kolom search, hasil pencarian langsung ditampilkan saat itu juga. Sangat berbeda dengan "search" milik Windows.

Bagusnya lagi, Everything dapat menemukan file yang di sembunyikan atau file yang di lock walaupun tetap kita tidak dapat membukanya jika file tersebut dalam keadaan di lock. Selain itu tools ini juga bekerja sangat baik dalam jaringan. Saya mencobanya di lab komputer untuk menemukan file di komputer lain, ternyata Everything melakukan tugasnya dengan sangat baik. Saya merekomendasikan Anda menggunakan Everything untuk menggantikan "search" bawaan Windows.
