Google To Stay Default Search Engine On Firefox For 3 Years

Google has signed a new three-year agreement with Mozilla to keep its search engine as the default option in Firefox.

Financial terms were not exposed, but Mozilla said last year that approximate 98 percent of its royalties drive from deals with search companies.

Google has its possess browser in the sort of Chrome, so the firm could have collapsed to re-sign the contract.Both firms were pleased with the outcome, according to a joint release.



According to Mozilla chief executive Gary Kovacs:

Create your own Orkut Themes

Orkut doesn’t have the API required for third parties to build themes for the service. If you use Firefox + Greasemonkey, then you can build your own Orkut themes in just a few seconds. Here’s how:

1. Go to this page, and enter the url of a valid image. (Make sure that your image has enough width, else it’ll get repeated)
2. Click on the submit button and you’ll get the greasemonkey script with the background image of your choice.

Internet Cepat Dengan Membuka Mode Wap di Firefox

Kecepatan browsing internet biasanya tidak selalu tetap, artinya bisa juga mengalami kondisi lambat bukan main. Kamu bisa mencoba bagaimana mempercepat koneksi internet di posting sebelumnya. Pada kondisi internet lambat, semacam ini kadang bisa membuat kita jengkel untuk menunggu, padahal kita butuh mengakses sebuah situs dalam waktu yang cepat karena mungkin keterbatasan waktu kita.

Untuk mensiasati hal ini bagi kamu yang menggunakan browser Firefox, kamu bisa membuka Firefox mode wap atau mobile. Caranya kamu perlu menginstall addons User Agent dulu. Setelah selesai, restart Firefox.

Sebelum menulis sebuah alamat URL, klik Alat > Default User Agent > Pilih Iphone 3.0. Setelah melakukan ini kamu bisa mencobanya. Misal untuk membuka Google ketik: wap.google.com, untuk Facebook: m.facebook.com

Perlu kamu ketahui, ketika kamu mengubah mode menjadi wap sebenarnya ketika membuka sebuah website akan otomatis menyesuaikan menjadi mode wap/mobile, tanpa kita harus repot-repot mengetik ulang alamat url.

Secara default, mode wap yang ada adalah iphone. Namun kamu juga bisa menambahkannya dengan user agent mobile yang lainnya. Misal user agent BlackBerry 9800 Torch: Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9800; en) AppleWebKit/534.1+ (KHTML, Like Gecko) Version/6.0.0.141 Mobile Safari/534.1
